By accessing or using VCStudy, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform.
1. Eligibility
VCStudy is available to authorized users only. To create an account, you must have one of the following:
- A valid @warriorlife.net or @vcs.net email address (Valley Christian High School email)
- A valid @valleytori.com email address (ValleyTori team email)
- An email address that has been added to the platform's whitelist by an administrator
By registering, you confirm that you are authorized to use the email address you provide and that you are a student, staff member, or approved participant associated with Valley Christian High School.
2. Acceptable Use
VCStudy is an educational platform. You agree to use it solely for educational and academic purposes. You must not:
- Post content that is offensive, harassing, discriminatory, or threatening toward any individual or group.
- Submit plagiarized content or claim credit for work that is not your own.
- Upload malicious content, spam, or any material unrelated to educational purposes.
- Attempt to access accounts or data belonging to other users without authorization.
- Interfere with or disrupt the platform's functionality, including attempting to bypass security measures.
- Use the platform for commercial purposes, advertising, or solicitation.
- Share your login codes or authentication tokens with others.
3. Content Ownership and License
You retain ownership of the original content you create on VCStudy. By posting content on the platform, you grant VCStudy a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and store your content for the purpose of operating and improving the educational platform.
Content contributed to the platform is intended to benefit the Valley Christian High School community. You acknowledge that your contributions may be viewed, used, and built upon by other users for educational purposes.
Your username is attributed to content you create and edits you make. Edit histories are maintained for transparency and academic integrity.
4. Admin Moderation Rights
Administrators have the right to:
- Review, edit, lock, or remove any content on the platform that violates these terms or is deemed inappropriate for the educational environment.
- Temporarily or permanently ban users who violate these terms.
- Modify user roles and permissions as needed for platform management.
- Access audit logs and user activity records for moderation and accountability purposes.
Administrators exercise these rights in good faith to maintain a safe and productive learning environment. Moderation actions are logged for accountability.
5. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms of Service. Reasons for termination include but are not limited to:
- Repeated violations of the acceptable use policy.
- Harassment or threatening behavior toward other users.
- Posting inappropriate or non-educational content.
- Attempting to compromise platform security.
Bans may be temporary or permanent, depending on the severity of the violation. You may appeal a ban by contacting [email protected].
6. Limitation of Liability
VCStudy is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. ValleyTori and the VCStudy team shall not be liable for:
- Any loss of data, content, or academic materials.
- Service interruptions, downtime, or technical issues.
- The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of user-generated content.
- Any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform.
You acknowledge that VCStudy is a free, community-driven educational tool and use it at your own risk. Always maintain backup copies of important academic work.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of VCStudy after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
